Wie ben ik? Waar sta ik voor?

Veel dingen doe je uit gewoonte, omdat het "moet" of van ons verwacht wordt. Sommige dingen doe je met je hart. Daar wordt je blij van en geeft energie.
Schilderen doet dat met mij. Als ik aan een nieuw doek begin, heb ik ergens een plan en laat ik me verassen door wat er ontstaat. Ik vind het heerlijk om me lekker met veel verf, kwast en paletmes "in de materie" te verliezen. Muziekje erbij, houtkachel aan, gezellig in het atelier.

Ik exposeer mijn schilderijen in binnen en buitenland. Net als ik, "reist" mijn werk rond en vind menig plekje aan een muur van een liefhebber. 
 
Daarnaast geef ik gedurende het jaar schilderworkshops in m'n atelier of op locatie voor iedereen die plezier heeft in schilderen. Ook bedrijfsuitjes, jubileum of andere feestjes kunt u starten met een actieve schilderworkshop. Kijk voor het programma bij workshops of neem even contact op voor een workshop “op maat”.


Who am I? What inspires me?
As humans,we do many things out of habit, because they need to be done and are expected of us. Sometimes we follow our hearts and do things we love. This gives us energy and makes us happy.
Painting is what I love. When I start a new canvas I have an idea and I let it develop as it comes. I enjoy diving in with lots of paint, brushes and a palette knife and losing myself in the art. Add in some music and a log fire in the hearth and I’m in my happy place in my cozy atelier.
I exhibit my paintings locally and internationally.

Just like me, my work travels far and wide and often finds a place on an art lover’s wall.

During the year I facilitate painting workshops in my atelier or on location for anyone who finds pleasure in putting paint on canvas.
